Outbuiltit is a software product company in Chennai, founded by Deepak Ramesh. We build one thing and build it well — Outbuiltit, a WhatsApp assistant that answers enquiries, books appointments, and runs the front desk for beauty parlours and salons.
The company grew out of a simple observation: most small businesses don't have a people problem, they have a systems problem. Deepak spent years as an RPA developer at UiPath, then led a 7-person team at Firestorm — a travel agency — where a custom pipeline took site output from 5 to 32 a month without a single new hire. The lesson stuck: a focused product beats a pile of one-off services. So instead of doing client work forever, we put that discipline into a single product.
Outbuiltit is built on the official Meta WhatsApp Business Platform. Every feature exists to do the same job — let a parlour owner stop drowning in DMs and never miss a booking again.

Started with web scraping in college, spent years in enterprise RPA at UiPath, then spent 2025 building deployment automation for a travel agency. Began building WhatsApp ordering bots for small businesses in 2024 — and that thread led straight to Outbuiltit, a real product for one vertical instead of bespoke work for everyone.
How we got to a product
Outbuiltit founded as a product company — channelling years of automation and web work into Outbuiltit, a focused WhatsApp booking and AI-assistant product for beauty parlours and salons.
At Firestorm (travel agency): built a pipeline combining Claude AI + writers + deployment automation to scale site output from 5 to 32 a month with a team of 7. Zero new hires.
Built and ranked crowd-tracker.com to 400+ daily organic visitors — from zero, in 3 months, with no ad spend. Started building WhatsApp ordering bots for small businesses.
RPA developer at UiPath — enterprise automation at scale. That experience, combined with early web scraping work, became the foundation for building software that quietly does the work.
Started web scraping in 2nd year. Built a surprise birthday website during COVID — photos, videos, and messages from friends, all stitched together as a gift. That one project started everything.
